Anyway, I believe it's time for my first journal of 2014. So much has been going on within the first two months so I thought I'd talk about the important bits.
Firstly, things have been quite chaotic for me in terms of my education as I've got to that point where I'm regretting choosing the course that I am on as now I have come to realise it's not the one for me so I am currently going through the process of getting things sorted out so fingers crossed that soon I'll be able to sign myself up to a brand new course which I have been doing a lot of reading up on and I have decided that yes, this is the one for me
Secondly, 2014 has been quite good for music so far as we have had the new AXEL RUDI PELL released called INTO THE STORM and the debut live album from W.E.T. called ONE LIVE IN STOCKHOLM and both of them are fantastic so go and check them out. Still to come in the new year is the brand new solo album from JEFF SCOTT SOTO called INSIDE THE VERTIGO which he will be releasing under the name SOTO and it is a true return to his hard rock and heavy metal roots and so far all we know is the album name and that it will be released sometime in the Spring this year. We also have the SEN NO KISEKI SUPER ARRANGE VERSION album to look forward to from the FALCOM JDK BAND as well and one last thing before I forget, CRUSH 40 will be returning this year with BRAND NEW SONGS! That's right! BRAND NEW CRUSH 40 SONGS WILL BE RELEASED THIS YEAR
Thirdly, live rock and metal concerts have been announced this year by my favourite bands and so far I have seen AXEL RUDI PELL in London which was absolutely AWESOME and next up is HALESTORM in April and then EDEN'S CURSE in May and both of which I am super excited about. There is another band that I like called MXPX who will be returning to the UK after a long absence from playing shows in Europe and that is also in May so fingers crossed I will be able to go somehow
Fourthly (is that even a word?), on the Sunday just gone (February 23rd) I was in London attending the SonicLondon meet-up at Meltdown London which is a gaming e-sports bar so if you're ever in the London area or in the vicinity of Caledonian Road in London, go and check this place out as it is the ideal place for geeks, nerds and gamers everywhere. The event was organised by HelenBaby and I attended with my friends MizukiiMoon and CLGristwood and while I was there I made a new deviant friend in the form of destinal as well as meeting up with some old friends including ajhockham and shimmyshammy to name a few and as usual it was a great meet filled with lots of gaming and geekiness galore
Anything else? Oh yes. I have been brewing up ideas for more fan fiction crossover stories but what these will actually be I do not know myself but once I can get some ideas down on paper, I'll try to post whatever my crazy mind (LOL) comes up with on here for you guys
That's all for now so peace out and see you all next time \m/
