I decided to write this recipe from the GamesMaster Sonic the Hedgehog 20th Anniversary Edition magazine just incase anyone wanted to know how to make one

1/2lb ground beef
1 green pepper
1 small onion
1 garlic clove
1 can of chopped tomatoes
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
Chili powder
Four ounces of barbecue sauce
A packet of 8 frankfurters
Hot dog rools
Cheddar cheese

Before you begin...
This recipe should not be attempted by young children (or irresponsible adults), as it involves the use of sharp objects and a hot stobe. However, they can help by measuring out the ingredients

Step 1:
Firstly, prepare the vegetables!
Chop the onion and the pepper into small chunks (don't cut the onion too fine though or else it'll burn in the pan) and crush up a single garlic clove.
Then put them to one side for later.

Step 2:
Now it's time to cook the ground beef.
You'll want to preheat your frying pan and add a few drops of vegetable oil before adding the meat, or you'll risk it sticking to the pan.
Cook on medium-high heat and stir with a spoon occasionally to break the beef up.
When every last piece has turned from pink to brown (this is important!), you're ready to go to the next step.

Step 3:
Add the chopped vegetables and cook for a further three minutes.
Then stir in the crushed tomatoes and add the paste and the barbecue sauce.
Add a teaspoon of salt and then sprinkle on the cumin, oregano and chili powder to taste.
Bring it to the boil

Step 4:
Once boiled, reduce heat and allow to simmer, uncovered, for ten minutes.
Once the sauce is ready, cook the hot dogs as per the instructions on the packet and prepare the buns.

Step 5:
Make a lengthways incision down the hot dogs and place them in the bun.
Then spoon the chill across the bun to taste.
Grate some cheese over the top of it and you're done!
Pro tip: Eat with a knife and fork like some kind of upperclass man, because this is seriously messy finger food.
